TET at Lowell 2010

Cumnock Hall UML

Tet at Lowell 2010. What a day. The event has never ever been bigger than this year (year of the tiger if you don't know). This year there were plenty more beautiful decorations, variety of performances, and more smiles and laughter! There were so much to see; the colorful lions and banging drums, ancestor rituals, village decorations, singers, hip hop dancers, and pretty ladies in ao dai! Oh, What is Tet you ask? It is the one and only awesome Vietnamese New Year.

Well, this year there were a total of four different stage sets and 20+ performances! So much fun. The hip-hop dance was done by my friends in a group called Silver Rhythm, be sure to check them out. Their moves were awesome, mostly a part where they threw up Hien! My little sister and brother also made an appearance in a performance called Palladio. The One Way girls did a spectacular dance! Anyways, enjoy the pictures (credits to Dang)~!

A TET Mystery: My Skit Directorial Debut!

It's finally here! After three years of pondering, I have finally done something for Tet again. As you may or may not have known, I performed comedic skits in previous years for Tet, but then took a break for the past two years. My family skit group T5 abandoned when my mom, our director, was busy doing other performances with the Vietnamese Language Program (they were cuter than us) *sigh*. What happened afterwards is history…

Anyways, I have gone from being actor to director! Yes, that's right, this year I thought up of my very own skit script (with a little help of my cast). We have practiced, practiced, and practiced, and I hope that it was funny and entertaining for the audience. And now... I present to you ... a TET mystery by the Ninth Wonder!
